Facts about NASEC

North Andover School Enrichment Council (NASEC) is a volunteer-run organization founded in 1986 to provide performance art programs to the schools. The NASEC mission is to enrich the North Andover school curriculum by independently funding and providing onsite cultural and educational programs. At present, each elementary school grade enjoys 4-5 programs a year. Age-appropriate programs are also presented to all kindergarten and middle school students. All programs are previewed by members of the NASEC and reviewed by members of regional arts councils. The programs are funded by donations from parent-teacher organizations and by direct donations.

Join the Council or help with a program!

The NASEC welcomes help from parents who would like to serve as their school’s representative and from anyone who can spare even an hour on the day of a program. The individual school representatives remind faculty of upcoming shows, help advertise the shows to the media and community, and make the day enjoyable for all. Council representatives help make the performer comfortable the day of the show and check that the stage or performance area is ready and that any audiovisual equipment is ready. Volunteer to help at your school.

Help with a donation, suggestions

Parents and community members are encouraged to learn more about the Enrichment Council, attend programs at the schools and support the Council’s efforts with a donation. Suggestions for future programs are also welcome – please send us an email.
